Meet the Pastors


Ned Sutherland
Senior Pastor

On April 26, 2015, Ned Sutherland became the Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Russiaville. Pastor Sutherland previously served as a Senior Pastor in a church in West Bend, Wisconsin for 11 years. Then for 21 years Ned worked as a letter carrier in Lafayette, Indiana while serving as a lay-leader at Faith Church in Lafayette. Ned was a deacon, adult Sunday School teacher, member of the Faith Christian School board (a school of 600 k-12), as well as involved in counseling and mentoring numerous individuals and couples.


Marilou taught English, Speech and Drama for 13 years in the High School at FCS. Marilou has taught children’s Sunday School for years at Faith Church. Ned brings to the church a strong Bible teaching background, and experience in counseling and mentoring young families. Marilou uses her teaching experience to help in the children’s ministries.

The former pastor, Patrick Kamm passed away in May of 2014 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Missionary/Pastor Jim and Becky Storey served faithfully for a year helping the church in their search for a new Pastor. First Baptist Church is located on SR 26 and Cooper St. in Russiaville, Indiana.


Paul Drazich
Associate Pastor

Paul and his wife Debbie have two children, one grandchild, and a dog. He is a certified Biblical Counselor with Addiction Specialization and is the director of the addiction recovery program “Freedom That Lasts.” He is also a licensed pastor, ordained minister, and an associate pastor at a local church in Russiaville, IN. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with their dog and grandchild.

Paul has been 40 years sober of his addiction to alcohol, and is 6 years clean of his addiction to pornography. He has a heart for helping others struggling with life dominating addictions.
